Closing the Doorsby =SvenjaLiv

They did a challenge over on the JC forums where you had to do a drawing based on a given scene in your favourite SW movie. The Empire scene they gave me was "Closing The Doors", hence the title of the piece. Pretty sure you can figure out which scene it is.

The idea in the drawing is that Han and Luke are AWOL, and Leia can't do anything about it. I figured that "closing the doors" could also refer to her and Han's argument just prior to Han's crazy jaunt to rescue the kid, so I put them, arguing, on either door. And beyond the doors you've got Hoth and Leia's memories of the two guys, being shut out.

I'll admit that I'm not terribly happy with this one. It's too crowded, I think. It's also quite scribbly, but that was on purpose. You can only draw so much super-detailed stuff.

That aspect is one that I like. I also like how Chewie and Threepio turned out.

Anyway, enough rambling, enjoy the drawing!
