The next in the series: Tahiri Veila and Anakin Solo. Opposites in almost every way, but complementary in all of those ways as well. Tahiri is chattering away, and Anakin is trying to figure out what to say.

This one took a bit longer because Tahiri's feet gave me all the problems I was expecting, and the poses gave me some I wasn't. :roll: And I changed Anakin's hairstyle halfway through because it looked far too tidy for a Solo, and also, it occurred to me that it would require far too much effort and hairspray to maintain, and Anakin being a warrior, he'd hardly have time for that. Yes, I tend to overthink things. :giggle: As for Tahiri's hair, it was that short in Rebirth, so I drew it that way because all the other women's hair will be long, in this series, and variety is good. I think it all turned out okay in the end.

The quotes are from The Golden Globe by Nancy Richardson.

References: The Japanese NJO covers, mostly for Anakin's outfit.

I really liked this couple, so was sad to see it go... but I actually enjoyed Legacy very much, because Jacen was always my second favourite character (after Anakin) and it felt like a realistic development of his character in my opinion, even though the ending was slightly lame I loved that too..


And I really enjoy FotJ now, Ben Skywalker is my new favourite character ^^ heh

Me too! I was so saddened by Anakin's death, it was so bad. But he's still alive in my head, it's all good! And so is Jacen. I actually hated what they did with him, but not just in Legacy, even before that. I didn't finish the Legacy series. :shrug: But to each their own :D

I've heard good things about Ben! I don't really read the books anymore, but he sounds cool.

Well his character development was interesting and it did make sense... he was empathic and because of that started to question the use of the force, Vergere steered him into a more open minded path which Lumiya could use once he had gotten more knowledge and experience...

I like that you can actually see the path from Jacen to Caedus throughout the series, starting with the moment in NJO that he was captured and ending with the Legacy series

I guess it did make sense, yeah. But I didn't like it. :P I want my good guys to stay good guys! *lol* He was an interesting character, though. Maybe if I hadn't been so fond of him at the beginning, I'd have enjoyed it more!

Ha, he was always my favourite character except in the books with Anakin Solo, whom I liked slightly more :P now its Ben tho

Ahh, this picture makes me sad: So many possibilities for these two and such a sad ending for their story. It's part of the reason I stopped reading SW books.

Anyway, your picture is really lovely. Kudos for drawing naked feet so well. And I really like their hair.

Ohhh, I know, right? Anakin's death was the turning point for me. I gave up on canon after the NJO. I love these two, and I really really wanted to see more of them.

She's one of my favourite characters, and I really wish they had kept Anakin alive so they could get together.

Oh yeah, me too! I was so annoyed when they killed him. Then I was annoyed again when they didn't bring him back. :roll: But I'm glad you like this, thanks very much! :aww:
