A warrior woman on a mission. I've been working on this one for faaar too long and I've had enough of looking at it and fixing little things, so I'm posting it. I'm pretty sure there are a few problems with anatomy, because pfft who needs a reference, right? (Answer: I do. Clearly.)
I wanted to keep the palette pretty restricted, which worked far better than I thought it would. I must've painted and re-painted her at least five times, though. Who needs proper prelim sketches, right? (Uhmm... yeah. ) But I'm done now. And I learned quite a lot from this so it was worth it.
I hope you like her anyway. I'm still learning my way around the world of digital art, so if you have any suggestions on what I can improve next time, let me know!

I had a random urge to search for images of warriors to better visualise a character of mine. I entered 'warrior girl', and was bombarded by over-sexualised, horrendously impractical objectified weeds. Then I entered 'warrior woman'. Instant differnce. Love this immensely. Faved.
Haha, really? That's kind of awesome. I don't care much for the metal-bikini-clad "warrior" either, I know I'd never be able to fight like that. I'm glad you like this, thank you so much!
Thanks! Actually there's a bit of perspective distortion going on, if you look down at her feet, they're tilted the other way. You're looking "up" at her face and "down" at her legs and feet, so her bust and torso are pretty much horizontal. But I probably did mess it up a bit, I didn't use a proper reference. I've learned for next time though. Thanks for the feedback, and the favourite of course!
